Cricket Head to Head Records Across Tests, ODIs and T20Is

Every page is worked out from ball-by-ball records of international matches since Dec 2001.

Across the cricket head to head records on this site, no two teams have met more often than England and Australia: 174 times since Dec 2001. The hub lists 63 men’s rivalries and 29 women’s ones.

Each linked page combines Tests, ODIs and T20Is, then splits the results by format. It shows recent results, who scored and bowled best, the widest margins and where the two sides usually meet.

How the Head to Head Pages Work

Every rivalry page is counted from ball-by-ball scorecards published openly by Cricsheet. The data starts in Dec 2001, so a line such as “India 79, England 58” means wins in the matches covered here, not since the two sides first met. Draws, ties and no results make up the gap between the wins and the match total.

The two lists below give each rivalry with its matches and wins for both sides. Tap a name to open the full page. There, each format has its own section, and tapping a column title re-orders a table. The England vs Australia record includes 61 Tests, 87 ODIs and 26 T20Is. No Afghanistan rivalry is listed, because their games are absent from the source data. Franchise pairings such as MI vs CSK are not international, so they live on the IPL hub and the T20 leagues hub.
