T20 League Records: WPL, PSL, BBL and Eight More Leagues

Built from 3,254 matches across eleven T20 leagues outside the IPL, ball by ball, from the first season of each league to 2026.

These T20 league records answer a simple question, which franchises win most outside the IPL, using 3,254 matches across 11 leagues, each counted ball by ball from its first season to 2026.

Three leagues get the full treatment: the Women’s Premier League (WPL), the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and the Big Bash League (BBL), each with team pages and every head to head. Eight more have one records page each with winners, titles and career leaders. The IPL has its own hub.

Titles and Team Records in the WPL, PSL and BBL

Perth Scorchers are the clearest leaders anywhere in this section. They hold 6 BBL titles and have won 108 of 175 games, both the best in that league. Sydney Sixers have 3 titles and Brisbane Heat 2. Melbourne Stars have 79 wins but no title yet. The BBL records page and the Perth Scorchers page show how it was built.

The PSL is tighter at the top. Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars have 3 titles each, Peshawar Zalmi 2, and Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators 1 apiece. Peshawar have the most wins, 68 from 124. Read the PSL records for the full lists.

The WPL covers 88 matches from 4 Mar 2023 to 5 Feb 2026. Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru have 2 titles each, and Mumbai have won 23 of 37. The WPL records page has the run and wicket leaders.

League Rivalries Worth Opening

The two city derbies in the BBL lean one way. Sydney Sixers lead Sydney Thunder 19 to 7 in 29 games, see the Sydney derby page, and Melbourne Stars lead the Renegades 18 to 11. Sixers vs Scorchers is the most played BBL pairing at 32, with Perth ahead 19 to 12.

In the PSL, Karachi Kings vs Islamabad United stands at 19 to 6 for Islamabad. Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans are level at 11 each. In the WPL, MI vs GG is 8 to 1 for Mumbai, while MI vs DC is level at 5 each.

Eight More Leagues and How the Data Works

Each of these leagues has one records page: the WBBL (519 matches, 11 seasons), the CPL (442, 14 seasons), the BPL (469, 12 seasons), the LPL (143), SA20 (130), ILT20 (134), Major League Cricket (109) and The Hundred (201). The Hundred is played in balls, so its tables count balls, not overs.

All figures come from the open ball-by-ball files published by Cricsheet. Player figures ignore super overs. Each season keeps the team name used at the time. Career lists merge a player’s spells with different franchises into one row. Tap a column title to re-sort, and visit a league page for its season-by-season leaders.
