Lahore Qalandars vs Karachi Kings Head to Head in the PSL

Karachi's Lead, Season by Season

Lahore have never won a season series against Karachi by more than one game. Their best year was 2025, when they took 2 of 3, including a 65-run win in Karachi on 15 Apr 2025. Karachi, by contrast, have swept the season four times: 2016, 2023, 2024 and 2026.

The run from 2022 to 2024 was the most lopsided. Karachi won 5 of those 6 meetings, including their two biggest wins: 67 runs in Feb 2023 and 86 runs a month later, the day Lahore were dismissed for 110. Karachi have now won 8 of the last 10.

Home ground has not helped Lahore. Karachi’s record at the Gaddafi Stadium reads 6 from 8. At the National Stadium it is much tighter, 4 to 3 to Karachi. Chasing has paid off more often: 14 wins batting second, 9 batting first, with an average first innings of 167.

Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam and Haris Rauf

Fakhar Zaman of Lahore Qalandars stands out with 743 runs from 22 innings, and he made the only hundred in this matchup: 106 from 60 balls at the National Stadium in Jan 2022. He also has three of the five highest scores and a fixture-best 3 player of the match awards. Babar Azam is Karachi’s top scorer with 467 at 42.45. BR Dunk made 99* off 40 balls with 12 sixes for Lahore on 8 Mar 2020.

Lahore’s pace attack fills the top of the wicket list. Haris Rauf has 23 wickets and Shaheen Shah Afridi 21, with Zaman Khan third on 12. Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim lead for Karachi with 12 each. The best figures, though, came in the first season: RS Bopara (Ravi Bopara) took 6/16 for Karachi on 12 Feb 2016.

Club-by-club figures are on the Lahore Qalandars PSL records and Karachi Kings PSL records pages, with league leaders on the PSL records page.

Highest Totals and Low Scores Between Lahore and Karachi

Only three times has a side passed 200 in this matchup, and two of those came on one afternoon. Lahore set 199/6 on 23 Apr 2026 and Karachi chased 203/5 with eight balls to spare, the biggest total between them. Lahore’s best is 201/6, made away in Karachi in Apr 2025.

Low scores have mostly been Lahore’s. They hold three of the four lowest totals, with 110 at home in Mar 2023 the worst. Karachi’s lowest is 116 in Dubai in Feb 2019. Their 10-wicket win in Mar 2020 is the most complete victory in the series.
