Smriti Mandhana (India) sits at the top of almost every batting list in these women’s international cricket records: most runs, joint most hundreds and most sixes, across Tests, ODIs and T20Is combined.
The tables cover 2,806 women’s internationals with ball-by-ball data, from 22 Feb 2003 to 17 Sep 2026. That includes many matches between emerging nations, which is why some of the extreme bowling and low-total records come from teams outside the main ten. No Afghanistan women’s matches appear, since Cricsheet’s open files lack them. Every figure here counts only the matches in this range, so careers that began before Feb 2003 are not complete.
Most runs in women's cricket in all formats
Mandhana’s 9,948 runs from 267 innings have come at an average of 40.60 and a strike rate of 102.00. Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa) is second with 8,616, and her average of 46.32 is the highest among the top ten. Beth Mooney (Australia) is third on 7,472, and Harmanpreet Kaur (India) fourth on 7,025, so India have two of the top four.
The hundreds list is close at the top. Mandhana and Wolvaardt have 17 each, ahead of Hayley Matthews (West Indies) on 15 and Tammy Beaumont (England) on 14. Annabel Sutherland (Australia) has 7 hundreds from only 72 innings, a far quicker rate than anyone else on the list.
Mandhana’s 168 sixes put her just in front of AC Jayangani (Sri Lanka) on 164 and Sophie Devine (New Zealand) on 158. Each of these tables combines all three formats, so players who have played many T20Is tend to rank high on sixes. For separate format lists, see the women’s ODI records and women’s T20I records.

Most wickets in women's international cricket
Deepti Sharma (India) heads the bowling chart: 349 wickets from 265 internationals, costing 23.15 each. Sophie Ecclestone (England) is close behind on 335, and no one else in the top ten matches her average of 19.46. Megan Schutt (Australia) is third with 276.
Three Australians and three South Africans appear in the top twelve, which says something about the depth of those attacks: Schutt, Ash Gardner and Jess Jonassen for Australia, and Marizanne Kapp, Shabnim Ismail and Ayabonga Khaka for South Africa.
One name further down stands out. T Putthawong (Thailand) has 187 wickets at an average of 10.77, by far the lowest average on the list, though many of those came against newer teams. Best bowling is ranked by wickets first, then fewest runs, which puts 9/4, taken by L Cardoso for Brazil against Lesotho in Apr 2026, at the head of that list.
Highest scores, team totals and all-rounders
Four double hundreds appear in the data, all in Tests. Ellyse Perry (Australia) made the highest, an unbeaten 213 at North Sydney Oval against England, in a Test starting 9 Nov 2017. Sutherland’s 210, Beaumont’s 208 and Shafali Verma’s 205 for India follow. Shafali’s took only 197 balls, in the Chennai Test of Jun 2024 where India piled up 603/6, the biggest total anywhere in this data. The match was at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
At the other end, Rwanda dismissed Mali for 6 at Kigali on 18 Jun 2019. Lowest totals count only innings where a side was all out.
The player of the match table rewards all-rounders. Hayley Matthews leads with 39 awards, and she is also in the top 20 for both runs (6,314) and wickets (233). Perry and Jayangani share second place on 29.
How to read these lists
Every list here re-sorts when you tap its column headings. Runs and wickets are counted across every format, so a player with a long T20I career will usually have more matches than one who played mostly ODIs. Averages are runs per dismissal for batters and runs per wicket for bowlers.
All totals start from 22 Feb 2003 at the earliest, because that is where the ball-by-ball record begins. Teams such as India, England and Australia have played the most matches in that time, which helps their players rise up the run and wicket tables. For team-by-team views, start with the India Women records or the Australia Women records. The site-wide lists, mostly men’s, are on the highest individual scores page.
