Women’s T20I Records: Runs, Wickets, Scores and Totals

Covers 2,171 women's matches from Jun 2009 to Sep 2026 with ball-by-ball records. Afghanistan matches are not in the open data set.

Smriti Mandhana (India) has scored more runs than anyone in these women’s T20I records, 4,440, while her India teammate Deepti Sharma tops the bowling with 178 wickets. The lists draw on 2,171 matches from 18 Jun 2009 to 17 Sep 2026.

Women’s T20Is now include a large number of Associate nations, so names from Bahrain, Brazil, Argentina and Rwanda sit alongside India, Australia and England. Afghanistan’s games are absent from the source data.

How These Women's T20I Records Are Measured

All the lists use the same pool of 2,171 games. Aggregates such as runs, wickets, hundreds and sixes add up everything a player has done in that pool, while the top scores table is innings by innings (an asterisk means not out). Bowling figures are sorted on wickets and then on economy of runs, so 7/0 outranks 7/3.

The fastest fifty and fastest hundred tables count balls faced to reach the milestone, not the strike rate of the whole innings. The lowest totals table only includes sides that were bowled out, so a short innings ended by rain does not count.

The ICC gave T20I status to all women’s matches between its members in 2018, and that shows up clearly in the team totals and bowling tables. Click any column heading to re-sort a table. The 50-over lists are on women’s ODI records, and both formats together on women’s international cricket records.

Most Runs in Women's T20 Cricket

Mandhana leads with 4,440 runs in 153 innings, ahead of Beth Mooney (Australia) on 3,739 and AC Jayangani (Sri Lanka), better known as Chamari Athapaththu, on 3,662. Mooney has the best average in the top 20, 42.01. India have four of the top 13 run scorers: Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Shafali Verma and Jemimah Rodrigues.

ER Oza (UAE) has hit 5 hundreds, more than anyone, and her 25 match awards are also a record here. Jayangani and L Wolvaardt (South Africa) have 4 hundreds each. Sophie Devine (New Zealand) has the most sixes, 106, just ahead of Jayangani on 104.

The highest score is 161 not out off 66 balls by HMD Rasangika (Bahrain) against Saudi Arabia on 22 Mar 2022, which also included the fastest hundred, in 44 balls. Alyssa Healy (Australia) made 148 not out against Sri Lanka in Oct 2019, with a hundred in 46 balls. Fatima Sana (Pakistan) reached fifty in 15 balls against Zimbabwe on 15 May 2026, the quickest in the data. See the India Women records for Mandhana’s full team context.

Most Wickets and Best Bowling

Deepti Sharma’s 178 wickets top the list, with T Putthawong (Thailand) second on 157 at an average of just 9.63. Sophie Ecclestone (England) has 154 and Megan Schutt (Australia) 142. Thailand have three bowlers in the top 10, all with averages below 13.

Top of the bowling table is a remarkable 9/4 by L Cardoso (Brazil), taken against Lesotho in Apr 2026. R Rohmalia (Indonesia) took 7/0 against Mongolia in Apr 2024. From the Full Member sides, Chamari Athapaththu’s 7/5 against Indonesia in Sep 2026 stands out, as does a 6/7 by Nashra Sandhu (Pakistan) against Hong Kong that same month.

KY Chan (Hong Kong) has 4 five-fors, the most of anyone in the top 20 wicket takers.

Highest and Lowest Team Totals

Argentina hold the team record with 333/1 against Chile at San Albano in Oct 2023, a day after making 300/6 against the same opponents. Bahrain’s 318/1 against Saudi Arabia is second. Between two Full Members, England’s 250/3 against South Africa at Taunton in Jun 2018 is the best in the table.

At the bottom, two sides have been dismissed for 6: Mali against Rwanda in Jun 2019 and the Maldives against Bangladesh in Dec 2019. The Maldives appear four times in the 15 lowest totals, and five of those 15 innings came at the Botswana Cricket Association grounds in Gaborone.

Tournament figures live on the Women’s T20 World Cup records and the Women’s Asia Cup records.
