So who made the most runs in IPL 2010? Sachin Tendulkar of Mumbai Indians piled up 618 in 15 innings at 47.54, all without reaching three figures once.
All 60 matches of the third IPL season, staged between 12 Mar 2010 and 25 Apr 2010, are counted here. Chennai Super Kings took the title, but Mumbai won more games than anyone. Because the tables use present-day names, the Delhi Daredevils of 2010 appear as Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab as Punjab Kings.
The 2010 season: Mumbai won most, Chennai won the final
No side won more than Mumbai Indians, 11 from 16, and Tendulkar collected 4 match awards on the way. But the title went to Chennai Super Kings, who had won 9 and tied 1 before a 22-run win over Mumbai in the 25 Apr 2010 final at the DY Patil Sports Academy.
Deccan Chargers and Royal Challengers Bengaluru finished level on 8 wins and 8 defeats. Punjab Kings had a poor year, with only 3 wins from 14 and one tie.
This table counts every match, playoffs included, so it is a plain win-loss record and not the points table. Compared with later seasons, the scoring was modest: the best total was 246/5, and the lowest was 82 all out by Deccan Chargers against RCB at Navi Mumbai on 24 Apr 2010.

Deccan Chargers are listed as their own team and are not merged with Sunrisers Hyderabad. See the season before on IPL 2009 records, the season after on IPL 2011 records, and each year’s run leader in the Orange Cap list, season by season.
